Cinthya Diaz
Administrative Professional
Education: Bachelor of Architecture, Universidad Antenor Orrego, Peru.
With roots in a community oriented rural town in Peru, Cinthya was initially attracted to the similar small town atmosphere found in the Truckee area.
As an architecture student in Peru, she focused her studies on the differences and inequities between rural and urban society, and how the built environment could have an impact on improving these conditions. This ultimately inspired her to design a thesis project that would address the needs of rural communities in Peru, and help eradicate poverty by supporting the wool production in the alpaca breeding communities of the high Andes. These academic pursuits led to her receiving a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego.
Cinthya joined the Ward | Young family in 2022. Her role is ever expanding, as she keeps the team organized and the office running smoothly. Her friendly, resourceful and helpful demeanor is a perfect fit for our team and the clients we serve.
As a new mother Cinthya, enjoys spending time with her daughter and family. She also enjoys painting, reading and paddle boarding.
