TAHOE CITY PUD ADMINISTRATION BUILDING

Ward-Young prepared an administrative office needs report consisting of an office space needs assessment, alternative sites evaluation, and a specific site study for an administrative office of 9,750 square feet. The preparation of the report included meetings with the District staff and community and user groups. The report was completed in March 1992. Subsequently, the District Board authorized Ward-Young to proceed with architectural services. The scope of the project included extensive site work, including reconstruction of a portion of Fairway Drive. Construction was completed in June 1994. In 1997 the building received the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency’s Annual Building Award for Public Service projects.
