The Sugar Bowl Acadamy Campus located within the Sugar Bowl Ski Resort is a ski in, ski out campus.  Designed by Pfau Long Architects to meet the growing needs of the Academy, Ward-Young was tasked with the completion of Phase 1, which includes the overall site and landscape elements of the 10,500 s.f. Academic Building and a 9,200 s.f. Dorm Building.  The buildings were designed to withstand the high snow loads of Donner Summit, and with high performance building envelopes and building systems.
