ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH
The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church Parish Center serves as the first phase of the church with seating for 300 parishioners, a meeting room and offices to replace the undersized church in downtown Truckee. A separate Rectory was built on the western edge of the 8-acre parcel, located within the boundaries of Gray’s Crossing. The site has been master planned to include a building site for a future larger church which will accommodate up to 500 parishioners. At that time, the Parish Center will be converted to a gathering space for church receptions, education classes, and other social events.
